In just a few months, the Vegas weather will finally be warm!
There is nothing better than going on a hike in Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area to cleanse your busy mind and body.
If you are looking for an escape tucked away in Las Vegas, here are a few family friendly trails!
Lost Creek Trail
This trail is a simple rock path leading to a small canyon with a seasonal waterfall. It is the perfect spot to pack a lunch and enjoy the shade. This discovery trail is a great introduction to the Mojave desert. The hike is .75 one way.
2. Pine Creek Canyon
Pine creek is a beautiful trail showcasing some of Mojave’s well known plants and wildlife. When on this trail, you can also see some remains of where Horace Wilson’s home was in 1920. The hike is 3 miles one way.
3. Oak Creek Canyon
This last trail is a little more challenging, but easy enough for a family. It would not be the best trail for a stroller. The views are stunning and you can challenge yourself as you climb over the boulders and slopes.
