Drive Through 3 Million Lights!

Ah, December. I can finally play Christmas music without getting judged.

Growing up, my parents would drive around the neighborhood just so I could get a look at all of the lights draped across each front lawn. It is one of my favorite memories as a child. As I got older, Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway became our tradition. If you haven’t gone, you are missing out on a lot of holiday magic.

The cost for admission starts at $20 per car. As you pay for your ticket, you can even buy snacks and hot cocoa. Vegas local tip : Get your hot chocolate at 7/11 and let it cool down while you drive to the speedway. I promise, you will burn your tongue if you attempt to drink their hot cocoa while driving through the lights.

If you would prefer to see the lights yourself and not drive, you can hop on the Santa Tram and let someone else haul you along the beautiful display.

There is something so special about driving through and listening to holiday music.
