Dinner on the Lawn with Baby's Bounty - Downtown Summerlin
I posted on this a couple of weekends ago at the actual event, but here’s a little bit more info for those of you who’ve DM’d me! This is one of our favorite events that we have the privilege of being a part of every year, Dinner on the Lawn, benefiting the wonderful organization Baby’s Bounty.
Baby’s Bounty is an organization that was founded to provide low income families and single mothers with infant essentials and gear (diapers, wipes, car seat, portable crib). Baby’s Bounty requires that their Safe Sleep and Baby Basics class be taken before they’re able to provide all of these items to families. In addition to providing basics, founder Kim Amato also wanted to provide knowledge of safety, and baby basics and most importantly, safe sleeping.
When Geoff and I moved to Vegas, we were wanting to get involved with an organization that gave to a cause close to our hearts. We had just had our first child, Mackenzie, and we were wanting to give back to children, and to be a part of something that would help provide them and their families with the basics and knowledge they’d need to have a fresh start.
Every year, Baby’s Bounty hosts their big fundraising event , Dinner on the Lawn, at Downtown Summerlin outside underneath the beautiful Vegas sky. This year was such a wonderful turnout, and it’s so inspiring to see so many individuals wanting to make a difference in the lives of so many families, and most importantly, babies.
