Red Rock's Rockin Casino!
Red Rock Casino is definitely on the higher end of casinos; so I was very interested to find out if could live up to my expectations. Now, this being my very first visit to the casino, I was able to really take in that first impression.
It’s gorgeous! There were so many interesting and unique features it’s hard to choose what I liked most.
Pulling into the parking lot, I could already see that I was in for a treat. You could tell the features were well thought out and are very pleasing to the eye.
Not to mention the views of the mountains are something out of a painting.
I’m not a gambler, so I can't give you much on that, but it’s definitely not lacking in that department. While there were plenty of people there, it wasn’t crowded and there were plenty of options.
The atmosphere is sophisticated yet inviting, and I couldn’t get over all of the light features.
If you come in through the main entrance, the glass entryway is all red glass (fitting) and it throws off this beautiful, vibrant glow.
Once you’ve cleared the front desk, you’ll enter the Lobby Bar which has this HUGE, outstanding crystal chandelier hanging from two floors up, down to the middle of the bar.
Just up the stairs -- and in the heart of the casino -- is the Lucky Bar, which was definitely my favorite place! The ceiling is completely covered in bright hanging crystals, almost like you’re in some exotic cave.
I liked the crystals best because they were swaying and bumping into each other, creating such a beautiful sound, like bells singing above you. Sounds cheesy, but it’s really what I felt sitting under them.
I perused the whole casino and found myself outside looking over the pool area that has cabanas and lounge chairs galore.
The fountain in the middle really stood out to me because, anywhere else, playing in a fountain is definitely against the law (totally not speaking from close-call experience…); so, being able to swim around and play in the fountain is definitely a check off the bucket list!
I’m gonna say it again, the views are majestic. Anywhere you step outside here you have an amazing view of…well, red rocks and mountains. It’s super close to Red Rock National Park; so not only do you have the views, but also the opportunity to see them up close!
All in all, Red Rock Casino is a beautiful place not only to vacation, but to drop in and take advantage of all Red Rock has to offer.
